THE NAVIGATION TEAM

The Navigation Team has recently been appointed and we are incredibly thankful to the people who have put themselves forward to serve on this team.
The team is being chaired by Rev Phil Saltmarsh (St Aidan with All Saints Speke), who is also the Fit for Mission Team Lead.  The members are:  Ann Cowen (St Marys Grassendale), Rev Ian Greenwood (St Annes Aigburth), Jen Jarman (All Souls Springwood), Joy Jary (St Stephens Gateacre), Rev Gareth Morgan (St Nicholas and St Marys Halewood), Paul Roberts (St Annes Aigburth), Rev Nicola Milford - Area Dean (All Hallows Allerton).  This team will be reviewed regularly to ensure we have the right mix of people and skills.

We are now at the stage of discerning the details of what Fit for Mission will look like in Liverpool South, and also who will be serving with us on the journey,. Please prayerfully consider whether you can contribute by serving on one of the Change Teams.

CHANGE TEAMS

Change Teams are interim teams that oversee different aspects of the transition to the new, larger parish.

Change teams will be where together we work out what a larger parish will look and feel like in Liverpool South.  They will be working out the nuts and boltsof how it will come together as we seek to build Gods kingdom in our part of the city.

They should all be a mixture of lay members and clergy from within churches of the FfM journey.    We will need a number of people, with various skills and interests to work together in forming our larger parish in order to develop the four key mission priorities of Fit for Mission:
Introducing people to Jesus  |
Deepening discipleship  | Developing Christian Leaders  | Working for Justice

The next teams to start work will be:

Each Change Team will have a Team Leader.

We anticipate that the Growth Team will emerge out of the Cultivate pathway in the Autumn, and the Safeguarding and Church Wardens teams will also form later in the year.
